Coldcard firmware flaw drained $38M in Bitcoin — maker suspects AI found the bug

Coldcard wallet maker Coinkite says an attacker likely used AI to review previous versions of its open-source firmware and uncover a vulnerability. The flaw was exploited to drain Bitcoin worth $38 million. Coinkite believes the vulnerability existed in older versions of the firmware.
