Energy sector inflation hits 10% — Eurostat data on EU prices

Eurostat projects harmonised HICP inflation in the eurozone at 2.9% for July, up from 2.8% in June. The energy sector is recording the highest annual inflation rate, reaching around 10%. The figures highlight significant variation in price growth across different sectors of the EU economy.
