Dollar weakens sharply, złoty gains, but euro holds above 4.30 PLN

The dollar fell sharply on currency markets, boosting the Polish złoty. Despite the złoty's gains, the euro remained above the 4.30 PLN level. The contrast between a weakening dollar and a persistently elevated euro rate was clearly visible in market trading.
