Polish inflation jumps to 3% in July, GUS data shows

Poland's Central Statistical Office (GUS) reported that consumer price inflation reached 3% year-on-year in July, a clear acceleration compared to previous months. Month-on-month prices rose by 0.8%. The main driver of the uptick was higher fuel prices following the end of the CPN fuel subsidy programme.
