Circle K owner Alimentation Couche-Tard to acquire Żabka for 32.6 billion złoty

Canada's Alimentation Couche-Tard, owner of the Circle K chain, will acquire Żabka — Poland's largest convenience store network — for 32.6 billion złoty. A previous acquisition attempt by Japanese investors fell through. Following the takeover, Żabka will most likely be delisted from the Warsaw Stock Exchange, just two years after its IPO.
