Smartphones banned from Polish primary schools from September after president signs law

From 1 September, a nationwide ban on smartphones and other communication or recording devices in Polish primary schools will take effect, after the president signed an amendment to the Education Law. The ban applies to all primary school pupils during their time on school premises. The legislation was passed to limit distractions and protect pupils' wellbeing.
