Standard home insurance won't cover war-related blast damage, expert warns after Lublin region incident

Following Thursday's rocket or drone incident in the Lublin region, experts are warning that standard property insurance policies frequently exclude damage caused by acts of war. Prof. Marcin Orlicki, writing in Rzeczpospolita, cautions that residents near the border may have no legal right to compensation. The Financial Ombudsman has announced urgent work to unify insurance regulations on the matter.
