Hotel debts drop 7.5%, but restaurants keep piling up arrears

Poland's HoReCa sector (hotels, restaurants, catering) had overdue liabilities worth PLN 1.88 billion at the end of May, down 7.5% year-on-year, according to a BIG InfoMonitor report. Some 401 companies were removed from debtors' lists over the past year. The improvement is concentrated in the hotel sub-sector, while the restaurant and catering segment continues to accumulate arrears.
