Poland's government plans to rename Army Day and Flag Day

Poland's Ministry of Culture and National Heritage is preparing legislative changes to the country's official holiday calendar. According to Rzeczpospolita, the ministry plans to reframe Army Day as a holiday commemorating the Battle of Warsaw and to rename Flag Day (2 May) as Flag and White Eagle Day. The reforms will also touch on laws governing national symbols.
