Economists: Polish MPC should hold interest rates at least until year-end

NBP Governor Adam Glapiński signalled after the July Monetary Policy Council meeting that he may propose an interest rate cut in September. However, the majority of economists polled in Rzeczpospolita's Economists' Panel argue that rates should not be cut at least until the end of the year. They cite persistent inflationary pressure as the main reason for caution.
