Rose Davies wins 5,000m gold to complete historic Commonwealth double

Australia's Rose Davies, born in Newcastle, won gold in the 5,000m at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, becoming the first woman ever to complete the 5,000m and 10,000m double at the Games. The 26-year-old edged out Australian teammate Jessica Hull in a fierce battle at Scotstoun Stadium. Davies dropped to her knees in joy after crossing the finish line.
