Historian argues Warsaw Uprising was not doomed from the start
Modern historiography primarily blames generals Okulicki and Pełczyński for the premature outbreak of the Warsaw Uprising. New analyses also point to the responsibility of Gen. Chruściel, Col. Rzepecki and Prime Minister Mikołajczyk, who reportedly told Molotov about the planned insurrection. Researchers argue the Uprising was not inevitably doomed to fail.
