Only 8% of Americans Trust AI to Manage Their Medical Records

A KFF poll from October 2025 found that only 8% of Americans have a "great deal" of trust in AI for managing medical appointments or analysing health records, with just 32% expressing any confidence. The findings highlight a major trust gap between the rapid adoption of AI in healthcare and patient attitudes. Public scepticism remains high despite AI's growing role in medicine.
