PiS Split: Morawiecki Forms New Parliamentary Club as Party Unveils Plan
A meeting took place at Konopnicka Street in Warsaw, where members of the new parliamentary club being formed by former Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki gathered, confirming a split within the Law and Justice (PiS) party. Meanwhile, PiS spokesman Rafał Bochenek announced after a meeting at the party's Nowogrodzka headquarters that on 6 August the party would present an outline of its programme as part of summer initiatives. The two parallel events highlight deepening divisions within Poland's right-wing opposition.
