ABC Calls FCC License Review 'Retaliation' for Trump Coverage
ABC filed a 109-page document with the FCC, accusing it of retaliating against the network for its editorial coverage of Donald Trump. Lawyers for the Disney-owned broadcaster said the expedited license review of eight local stations sends a message to all media: "Accommodate the administration's view of news coverage or pay the price." The FCC process was prompted by petitions from conservative media groups seeking to deny ABC's licenses.
