Google used AI to find more Chrome bugs in June than in the past two years combined

Google announced that by using large language models and AI tools, it found and patched more security bugs in Chrome in June alone than over the previous two years combined. Microsoft had previously observed the same trend. Security experts have warned for years that AI exponentially accelerates the discovery of software vulnerabilities.
