EU Pays Ukraine €3.47bn for Urgent Military Needs

The European Commission has disbursed €3.47 billion to Ukraine from a €90 billion EU loan package. The funds are earmarked for Kyiv's urgent military needs in the ongoing war with Russia. A total of €28.3 billion is set to reach Ukraine in support of its defence industry throughout 2026.
