Mercedes Recalls 311,000 Cars Over Rollaway Risk From Corroded Door-Lock Switch

Mercedes-Benz is recalling more than 311,000 vehicles due to a rollaway risk caused by a corroded driver door-lock microswitch. The faulty component can prevent the gearbox from locking properly, meaning the car could roll away unattended. Owners of affected models are advised to contact an authorised dealer.
