Poland's Defence Ministry: Residents Should Get SMS Alerts When Threat Is Over
Deputy Defence Minister Stanisław Wziątek acknowledged that emergency procedures need improvement following the incident in which a Russian manoeuvring missile entered Polish airspace over the Lublin region. He announced that future protocols should include sending SMS alerts to residents notifying them when a threat has ended, not only when it begins. The ministry accepted responsibility for inadequate public communication during the incident.
