Senior Latvian party politician jailed 5 years for spying for Russia

Ilja Podkolzins, a senior figure in the Latvian party Together for Latvia, was sentenced to five years in prison for collecting intelligence information and passing it to Russian special services, Latvian news agency LETA reported on Thursday.
