Sejm chancellery to spend record 1 billion PLN — MPs want even bigger pay rises

The Sejm chancellery's budget will reach a record 1.073 billion PLN next year, a rise of 20.9 percent. A large share of the funds is earmarked for increases in MPs' salaries, per diems and office allowances. Despite the raise, some MPs argue the increase in the flat-rate office allowance is too small to cover rising costs.
