Picking fruit from trees in parks: when is it legal in Poland?

Picking mirabellas, apples or mulberries from trees in public parks and housing estates is not automatically legal, despite widespread belief to the contrary. Legality depends on who manages the land and whether any greenery is damaged during the harvest.
