Russia arrests drone official amid fraud probe — Chinese UAVs passed off as Russian

Russian authorities have detained Alla Polovchenia, deputy head of the unmanned systems and robotics department at the Ministry of Industry and Trade. The investigation concerns embezzlement of funds earmarked for developing domestic drone production. Reports indicate Chinese-made UAVs were purchased and presented as Russian-made systems.
