Hungary's Paks nuclear plant faces shutdown this week due to water shortage

Hungarian Prime Minister Peter Magyar warned that the Paks nuclear power plant could be shut down as early as Thursday or Friday due to insufficient water to cool its reactors. The same problem has affected Romania's Cernavodă plant. The crisis is linked to exceptionally low water levels in the region.
