Russia extends fuel export ban until January 2027

The Russian government announced on Thursday that it is extending its ban on gasoline and diesel exports until 31 January 2027. The ban was introduced to address domestic fuel shortages caused by Ukrainian strikes on Russia's oil infrastructure. The decision further restricts supplies of Russian fuel to European and global markets.
