Amazon's Zoox cleared to charge for robotaxi rides in Las Vegas

The US National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has granted Amazon-owned Zoox a temporary regulatory exemption allowing it to operate up to 2,500 vehicles annually for two years under "enhanced, adaptable" oversight conditions. Zoox can now charge passengers for rides in its autonomous vehicles in Las Vegas.
