Poland's NFZ Releases 2.4 Billion Zloty for Overdue Medical Services and Drug Programmes
Poland's National Health Fund (NFZ) has revised its financial plan, allocating 1.8 billion zloty to cover excess medical services and nearly 600 million zloty for overruns in drug programmes and chemotherapy. The NFZ announced on Thursday that part of the funds has already been paid out. The changes are intended to ease the burden on medical facilities that provided services beyond their contracted limits.
