Gen. Drewniak: Poland cannot fire at unidentified airspace targets in peacetime
Retired Brigadier General Tomasz Drewniak, former Inspector of the Polish Air Force, warns against opening fire on unidentified aerial objects. Speaking to Defence24.pl, he stresses that peacetime regulations governing civilian air traffic must be observed. He notes that without advance airspace closure — as was the case during the incidents on the night of 29–30 July — shooting at unidentified objects is not permissible.
