Tusk: Poland was ready to shoot down the Russian Kh-101 missile

Prime Minister Donald Tusk stated at a services briefing in Lublin that Poland was ready to shoot down the missile that struck near Tarnawa Kolonia village in Lublin province on 30 July. Tusk said all indications point to the object being a Russian Kh-101 ballistic missile. He did not publicly explain why the object was not intercepted before it hit Polish territory.
