Polish Couple Who've Lived in UK for 80 Years Stranded in Kraków After Brexit Rules Applied
Maria and Czesław Krupa, who came to the UK in 1947 and 1948 as dependants of displaced Polish servicemen, were refused boarding by Ryanair in May while visiting Poland. The airline told them they lacked the post-Brexit documentation needed to return to their home in Bury. The couple, who have lived in the UK for nearly 80 years, were unaware they needed special paperwork following Brexit.
