Russians Can Afford Less: Clothing Sales Drop 10% Year-on-Year

Clothing and footwear purchases in Russia fell 10% from January to May 2026 compared with the same period in 2025, according to data from Kloto Consulting and TrendVision cited by Kommersant. In some market segments the decline reached 15%. The figures point to a deepening economic crisis hitting ordinary Russians.
