Poland's NFZ fines Miastko hospital 13.2 million złoty over inflated neurosurgery bills

Poland's National Health Fund (NFZ) has fined the municipal hospital in Miastko 13.2 million złoty over billing irregularities involving neurosurgery firm Spine, whose doctors charged up to 300,000 złoty per working day. The already-indebted hospital, which faces potential closure, has 14 days to appeal the decision.
