Tusk on missing RCB alerts after missile incursion: sirens were fastest, but post-alert SMS is a must
Prime Minister Donald Tusk explained that sirens were used after a Russian missile entered Polish airspace because the threat emerged too quickly to send RCB SMS alerts. He admitted, however, that a rule must be introduced requiring an SMS to be sent once the threat is lifted, to inform citizens of what happened. The incident triggered sharp criticism over the state's failure to communicate with residents in affected areas.
