Record-low Danube levels force Hungary and Romania to cut nuclear output

Historically low water levels on the Danube, caused by a European heatwave, have forced Hungary and Romania to reduce output at key nuclear power plants. The river serves as a coolant source for these facilities, and its low levels threaten normal operations.
