10-Metre Crater Appears in Lublin Region After Unidentified Object Falls

An unidentified object crashed into a field near the village of Tarnawa-Kolonia in the Lublin region of Poland, leaving a crater nearly 10 metres in diameter. The explosion, heard from several kilometres away and described by witnesses as louder than thunder, woke hundreds of local residents. Fighter jets were subsequently spotted over the area as services moved to investigate the incident.
