Germany's GDP Beats Expectations in Q2 2026

Eurostat's flash estimate for Q2 2026 shows eurozone GDP grew 0.4% quarter-on-quarter and EU GDP by 0.5%, beating expectations. Germany, the EU's largest economy, posted a better-than-forecast result. In Q1 2026, the eurozone was flat and the EU grew only 0.1%.
