Gen. Drewniak: procedures worked, but F-16 couldn't identify missile in time

Brigadier General Tomasz Drewniak, a former Polish Air Force inspector, told Wirtualna Polska that the military system functioned in line with procedures after an unidentified object entered Polish airspace. Aircraft were scrambled but could not identify the projectile before it exploded over the Lublin region. A debate continues over whether the object should have been shot down.
