Salman Rushdie's attacker convicted of terrorism on top of 25-year sentence

A US court has convicted the man who attacked author Salman Rushdie in 2022 on additional terrorism charges. The attacker is already serving a 25-year prison sentence; the new conviction adds further charges stemming from the assault. Rushdie lost sight in one eye as a result of the attack.
