Poland gains soldiers and civil servants but loses farmers, GUS data shows

According to GUS data, the number of people employed in Poland's economy at the end of February 2026 stood at 15.02 million, down 0.4 percent year-on-year. The number of farmers, foresters and construction workers fell, while soldiers and civil servants increased. Men accounted for more than half of all employed people.
