Lockheed Martin wins $58.6bn US Army contract for Patriot missiles

The Pentagon has awarded Lockheed Martin a contract worth up to $58.6 billion for Patriot missile systems. The aim is to replenish stocks depleted by conflicts in Ukraine and with Iran, Reuters reported. It is one of the largest defence procurement contracts in US history.
