SGH expert: Poland must raise retirement age — pension alone won't suffice

Prof. Agnieszka Chłoń-Domińczak of the SGH Institute of Statistics and Demography says the debate on raising Poland's retirement age is politically difficult but unavoidable. She argues that in the future a state pension alone should not be a senior's only source of income. She describes Poland as uniquely exposed to this demographic challenge without an adequate policy response.
