10-metre crater found in Lublin region after unidentified object — investigation underway

A crater 10 metres in diameter was found in a field in Tarnawa-Kolonia, Lublin voivodeship, after residents reported a loud explosion overnight. Air-raid sirens sounded in Lublin and parts of the region, and F-16 jets were scrambled to intercept an unidentified object tracked moving toward Poland. Defence Minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz confirmed an investigation is underway to determine what type of object fell.

Should Poland immediately release all information about the incident to the public?
