Bank Pekao posts 2.75 bn złoty profit — down 18% year-on-year

Bank Pekao Group reported a net profit of 2.75 billion złoty in the first half of 2026, a drop of nearly 18 percent year-on-year. The bank attributed the decline primarily to an increase in the corporate income tax rate.
