Unidentified object enters Polish airspace — military raises alert

At around 3:40 a.m. on 30 July, Poland's Operational Command of the Armed Forces detected an unidentified object moving westward through Polish airspace. The object disappeared from radar at approximately 3:46 a.m.; an F-16 fighter was scrambled, and the probable crash site was identified as an uninhabited area near Tarnawa-Kolonia outside Lublin.
