Expert: Migration won't reverse Poland's demographic decline

Demographer Mateusz Łakomy told PAP that migration can only soften Poland's demographic crisis, not reverse it. He warned that importing foreign workers as the working-age population shrinks could prove a trap for the economy. Poland's population decline is too deep to be offset by immigration alone, he argued.
