US launches heavy strikes on multiple cities across southern Iran

US Central Command launched what it described as a "heavy wave of strikes" against multiple cities across southern Iran. The attack followed an earlier Iranian-linked strike on a US base in Jordan. Iran vowed to continue its "resistance" in response to the American bombardment.
