Rybus returns to Poland after earning tens of millions in Russia

Maciej Rybus, a 36-year-old former Polish international, has signed with Pelikan Łowicz and is returning to Poland after more than a decade playing in Russia, where he earned a combined total of several tens of millions of zlotys. His decision to remain in Russia after the outbreak of the war in Ukraine made him a deeply divisive figure in his home country.
