Russia strikes Kyiv and Lviv — at least 8 killed

Russia launched a missile attack on Ukraine overnight, striking Kyiv and Lviv among other cities. At least eight people were killed and many more wounded. Air raid sirens sounded across the country, and rescue teams are searching through rubble where additional victims, including children, are believed to be trapped.
