US resumes Iran strikes after foiled attacks on American bases in Jordan

The US has resumed direct strikes on Iran one day after Iran's attacks on Jordanian bases hosting American troops were foiled. Trump had vowed "very hard" strikes in retaliation for Iranian attacks on US bases and those of regional allies, including in Egypt and the Gulf Arab states.
