Canadian man jailed 18 months after police confused his username with a suspect's

Canadian police had been searching since 2018 for a messaging app user with the handle "fus__ro_dah," suspected of grooming children. They arrested the wrong man based on a similar username, and he spent 18 months in prison before the mistake came to light.
